Christmas movies are no exception as the content provider attempts to bring cheer to its viewers. It’s the summer of reality TV on Netflix, and the latest in their new lineup is Instant Dream Home, a home makeover show with an extreme twist; all renovations are completed in 12 hours. If fans thought they had seen the cast before, they would be correct, as almost every one of them has appeared on TV. Months after a family's contractor skipped out mid renovation, the dream house they've almost given up on is going to get finished in one day.
Faced with newfound freedom, Kevin is initially elated, but he soon has to fend off a pair of burglars. Nevertheless, Christmas lovers are now besotted by the movie and every festive period offers Macaulay Culkin fans to throwback to the days where he was the cutest kid on the block. However, if you aren’t typically a fan of these types of shows, it is an easy skip for you. We have another home renovation show that has dropped on Netflix — Instant Dream Home. The film was released in August 1990, however, which does serve questions as to whether it was released with the intention of revolutionising the Christmas movie market.

We were excited to read about this new show on Netflix, however after watching just one episode, we know we won’t be watching again unless there is a change in the cast. The so-called “team leader” has absolutely no experience or skills for this position and proceeded to scream throughout the show in such an irritating way that we would mute the TV when we appeared on screen. Christmas with the Kranks – This is a classic Christmas film that never fails to deliver. The Kranks plan to go to the Caribbean for the holidays, but their Christmas-obsessed neighbors don’t want them to leave.
