Native to St. Petersburg Captain Mike spent 4 years in the US Navy as an Aviation Rescue Swimmer and finished his career in the US Coast Guard as a High Risk Training Instructor. Mike is an expert on local waters and a fantastic guide. First Mate McKenzie comes to us with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Education & Conservation from Eckerd College in St. Pete. She will help develop the curriculum for our Eco Tours as well as expand the scope of dolphin education on our daily tours.

There are about 4-5 steps (handrails) up to the boat and then a short distance to a seat. These cruises are not handicap approved by the coastguard. They are both narrated by an experienced crew. Both boats have a canopy covering about 8 rows of seating.
Our base is a cozy, quaint fishing town offering some of the world’s best seafood and unique shops. The captain was very informative and quite humorous. Saw so many dolphins, jellyfish and a shark. Will definitely do this cruise again the next time that we are in Destin.

This was my family's first dolphin sighting cruise and it did not disappoint. We had a charming captain and he made sure we learned the history of the area as well as saw dolphins, manta rays, all kinds of jelly fish, and sharks! The beautiful waters made it easy to see in and the size of the boat was perfect! See bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat on our family-friendly adventure.
